Located northwest of Bordeaux, between the Atlantic Ocean and the Gironde estuary, the Médoc is one of the most iconic regions on Bordeaux’s Left Bank.

Classification and Prestige

The Médoc holds the majority of the 1855 Grands Crus Classés, including some of the most legendary estates in Bordeaux:
Château Margaux, Château Latour, Château Lafite Rothschild, Château Mouton Rothschild, Château Cos d’Estournel, and Château Léoville Las Cases, among others.
