Terroir

Sourced from the Le Meix Cadot Premier Cru vineyard in the appellation of Rully, in the Côte Chalonnaise, this wine is produced by Domaine Vincent Dureuil-Janthial, one of the leading estates of southern Burgundy. The vines are planted on limestone-rich clay-limestone soils, ensuring excellent drainage and a pronounced mineral expression. The Burgundy climate, with warm days and cool nights, allows for slow, even ripening, preserving freshness, aromatic precision, and balance. Careful vineyard management and precise, low-intervention vinification result in a wine of clarity, depth, and terroir-driven character.

Tasting Notes

Appearance & Nose:
Pale gold color with bright highlights. The nose is refined and focused, offering aromas of white flowers, lemon zest, green apple, and pear, complemented by subtle notes of hazelnut, fresh almond, and wet stone.

Palate & Finish:
The palate is precise and well-structured, combining a gently creamy texture with vibrant acidity. Citrus and orchard fruit flavors are framed by a fine, mineral backbone. The finish is long, fresh, and elegant, highlighting the wine’s excellent aging potential.
