On the nose, the wine offers restrained and precise aromas: red cherry, wild strawberry, with more dark berry tones (black cherry, blackberry) interwoven with a hint of blood orange or citrus peel. Subtle tertiary notes of pencil shavings, crushed stone, forest floor or dried herbs may emerge with some aeration.
On the palate, the wine is medium‑bodied, with a taut core of fruit. The structure is supported by fine, silky tannins and lively acidity, giving energy and verve through the mid‑palate. There is a pronounced mineral streak—crushed stone / flint / saline impression—that gives lift especially toward the finish. The finish is clean, relatively long, with a subtle savory / spicy edge (white pepper, dried herbs) and notable persistence.
Over time, this should gain more depth, layering of secondary notes (soils, leather, sous‑bois), and further integration of oak.
Nose: Elegant notes of black cherry, violet, tea leaf, clove and damp forest floor.
Palate: Silky entry, fine tannins, precise and mineral-driven. A lacy structure, lifted by floral energy and a persistent, saline finish.
