Echezeaux Grand Cru 2021 - Domaine Berthaut-Gerbet

This Grand Cru hails from the “Les Treux” lieu-dit within Echézeaux, near the border of Grands Echézeaux. Under the guidance of Amélie Berthaut, the domaine crafts vibrant, terroir-driven Pinot Noir that combines finesse with depth.

Grapes are partially whole-cluster fermented, with native yeasts and gentle extraction. Aged 16–18 months in oak barrels, with limited new wood to respect purity.

Nose: Elegant notes of black cherry, violet, tea leaf, clove and damp forest floor.

Palate: Silky entry, fine tannins, precise and mineral-driven. A lacy structure, lifted by floral energy and a persistent, saline finish.
