" A completely different expression with its elegant red fruits that display only a trace of earth and no torrefaction followed by direct, linear flavors and dusty tannins...The Drouhin '99s were all as good, or in some cases slightly better, than initially previewed last year. There are a number of wines well worth searching for as there are many standout performers and from the perspective of an overall portfolio, this is as good a vintage at chez Drouhin as I can ever recall. "
