"The vines from the 2012 Arbois Vin Jaune en Spois were planted between 1993 and 2000. This is therefore the lightest of the vin jaune bottlings. Savagnin is a rustic grape with acidity and sugar, and 2012 saw small yields and therefore a very concentrated vintage. This is the Triassic jaune, which shows a little more evolved and open, a soil that produces open wines that are easier to drink."
