“La Mailloche” is one of Arbois' most iconic sites, with deep clay-limestone soils that yield structured and powerful wines. This topped-up Chardonnay (non-oxidative) is grown biodynamically and aged on lees in barrels (20% new), without stirring.
In 2020, it delivers a wine of remarkable depth, mineral force and precision, balancing richness and tension.
Nose: Ripe pear, lemon zest, chalk, toasted hazelnut, fresh bread, white flowers.
Palate: Broad yet firm, with compact texture and a distinctly saline core. Great length, driven by acidity and mineral backbone. A serious white wine with Jura identity and Burgundian finesse.
