Pinot Noir 'Selvenen' 2019 - Fromm

Entirely destemmed and aged in 20% new barriques, the wine offers a fascinating, pure, intense and coolish bouquet with red berry and ripe cherry aromas intermingled with notes of broken (slate) stones and herbs. There is already great purity and tension on the intense and coolish, terroir-driven nose. On the palate, this is a generous, silky, refined and persistently salty Pinot with enormous intensity and a rich but elegant and stimulating character. Built on red fruits, fine tannins and finesse, this is a gorgeous Pinot and luckily not all too rare. Total production is 4,000 bottles. (...) "
