"The 2019 Riesling is cooler and fresher on the nose than the 2018 and shows more yeasty as well as intense tropical stone-fruit aromas intertwined with delicate flinty tones and sur lie notes. Round, mouth-filling and intense on the palate, this is a full-bodied, elegant, mild and more textural dry Riesling compared to 2018 or 2020, and it reveals a more phenolic structure on the finish. It's still too young to fully shine today, but the wine unfolds and refines enormously when aerated. (...)"
