Gantenbein, located in the high-quality Bündner Herrschaft region of eastern Switzerland, has reached cult status among European wine lovers. Inspired by Burgundy but with a distinctly Alpine identity, the estate produces a minuscule amount of Chardonnay each year — especially rare in magnum format.

The 2017 vintage delivers remarkable purity, with aromas of candied lemon, ripe pear, crushed rocks, and fresh hazelnuts. The palate is finely chiseled, saline, and impeccably balanced, with well-integrated oak and a long, mineral finish.
