White Bones Adrianna Vineyard Chardonnay 2011 — Catena Zapata
This White Bones Adrianna Vineyard Chardonnay 2011 from Catena Zapata, offered here in an original wooden case of 3 bottles, reflects one of Argentina’s most distinctive expressions of Chardonnay. Born in the high-altitude freshness of the Uco Valley, it combines tension, mineral depth and aromatic complexity in a precise, vibrant and gastronomic style.
Terroir: Adrianna Vineyard, Andean altitude and Chardonnay precision
Adrianna Vineyard, located in the Uco Valley, has become one of Catena Zapata’s emblematic high-altitude terroirs. Cool conditions, intense sunlight and calcareous soils allow Chardonnay to retain remarkable energy while developing fine texture and a strongly mineral expression.
The 2011 vintage now offers a more evolved and nuanced expression, where the wine’s original freshness is joined by notes of yellow fruit, candied citrus, dried flowers, fine hazelnut and warm stone. The overall impression remains precise and upright, with a saline and persistent finish.
