This One Acre Pinot Noir 2017 from Littorai illustrates the finesse sought by Ted Lemon in his interpretation of Californian Pinot Noir. The wine favours transparency, aromatic nuance and balance over power, with a delicate, floral and deeply refined expression.
Terroir: Californian Pinot Noir, freshness and precision
Littorai is one of California’s most respected estates for its precise, sensitive and site-focused approach to Pinot Noir. The One Acre cuvée reflects this search for a true expression of place, with a style that highlights fruit finesse, natural freshness, delicate tannins and aromatic length.
The 2017 vintage gives a Pinot Noir that is still youthful in expression, yet already complex and nuanced. The wine opens gradually, with a supple texture, well-integrated freshness and a long, layered finish, fully in keeping with Littorai’s precise and elegant spirit.
