This exceptional Sancerre Blanc, crafted from a special selection in La Grande Côte, shows a brilliant golden hue, revealing its elegant evolution. The nose is intense and layered, offering ripe yellow fruits, candied citrus, beeswax, dried white flowers and a precise chalky minerality.
On the palate, the wine combines rich, textured fruit with striking saline tension, creating a long, vertical finish. Ripe fruit notes mingle with a distinctive chalk-driven structure and a subtle noble bitterness, characteristic of Chavignol’s finest sites. The finish is exceptionally long and mineral.
High ageing potential: still vibrant today, this 2013 will continue to develop remarkable complexity over time.
