Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Aux Malconsorts 2012 — Domaine Louis Jadot
This Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Aux Malconsorts 2012 from Domaine Louis Jadot embodies a profound, sensual and intensely refined expression of Pinot Noir from the Côte de Nuits. From one of the most prestigious Premier Crus of Vosne-Romanée, neighbouring some of the appellation’s greatest terroirs, this wine combines the aromatic nobility of Vosne, the depth of Malconsorts and the classical precision of a great Burgundian house.
The 2012 vintage now offers a remarkable balance between maturity, freshness and early evolution: black cherry, Morello cherry, ripe raspberry, red plum, old rose, violet, sweet spices, black tea, fine liquorice, sandalwood, delicate forest floor, fine leather, noble earth and a long mineral finish. The wine retains fine energy while entering a more complex and time-polished phase.
A great Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru of depth, velvet and distinction. Aux Malconsorts expresses all its nobility here: time-polished red and black fruit, fine spices, floral notes, silky texture and a long mineral finish with elegant earthy depth. A distinguished, refined and profoundly Burgundian bottle.
Terroir: Aux Malconsorts, depth and nobility of Vosne-Romanée
