"The 2018 Pinot Noir Wendling Vineyard Block E comes from vines planted in gravelly soils in 2010 and is biodynamically farmed. Medium ruby-purple, it offers blackberry preserves and cranberry sauce aromas with accents of desiccated violets, bergamot and fragrant soil. The palate is powerful but supple, its sweet berry fruits laced with floral perfume and packed into a firm but elegant frame. This gorgeous wine is immediately accessible but will age very well in the cellar."
