Château Langoa Barton 2016 – Saint-Julien Grand Cru Classé
A classic and beautifully structured Saint-Julien, combining precision, depth and refinement in one of Bordeaux’s most celebrated vintages.
Terroir & Winemaking
Located in the heart of Saint-Julien, Château Langoa Barton benefits from well-drained Garonne gravel soils that provide excellent structure and aging capacity. The wine is typically dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, supported by Merlot and a smaller proportion of Cabernet Franc, reflecting the traditional Médoc blend.
The 2016 vintage is widely regarded as one of the finest of the decade in Bordeaux, marked by ideal growing conditions that delivered ripe, concentrated fruit with superb balance. Vinification follows a classical approach, with aging in French oak barrels to refine tannins and enhance complexity while preserving the estate’s signature elegance.
