Pagodes de Cos 2008 — Saint-Estèphe
This Pagodes de Cos 2008, the second wine of Château Cos d’Estournel, offers an elegant and already evolved expression of Saint-Estèphe. The 2008 vintage highlights freshness, fruit precision and a classic Bordeaux structure, in a style that is more approachable than the grand vin while retaining the depth and spicy signature of the estate’s terroir.
Terroir: Saint-Estèphe, freshness, gravel and classical elegance
Born from the world of Cos d’Estournel, Pagodes de Cos carries part of the identity of this great Saint-Estèphe terroir: gravelly soils, tannic structure, natural freshness and aromatic depth. The wine shows a more supple and immediate expression, while preserving fine balance and character.
The 2008 vintage offers a fresh, upright and refined interpretation of the Médoc. Today, the wine is beginning to reveal evolved nuances of cedar, tobacco, undergrowth and spice, while retaining precise dark fruit and a structured finish.
