Château Haut-Brion 2015 – Double Magnum 3 L
A great Château Haut-Brion from the 2015 vintage, presented in a 3-litre double magnum and original wooden case. A prestigious bottle built for ageing, combining depth, refinement and the rarity of a large format.
A great Haut-Brion in a collectible format
Château Haut-Brion 2015 ranks among the great wines of its vintage, driven by the depth, balance and elegance that have built the estate’s reputation. Presented here in a 3-litre double magnum, it gains even greater appeal for ageing and collecting, large formats being especially sought after for the most prestigious growths.
The original wooden case further enhances the appeal of this example, making it ideal for lovers of great Bordeaux, collectors and long-term cellars.
Terroir
Located in Pessac, at the gates of Bordeaux, Château Haut-Brion is rooted in deep gravel soils mixed with quartz, flint and rolled pebbles, over clay-sandy subsoils. This poor, well-drained terroir encourages deep rooting and contributes to the finesse, aromatic complexity and longevity that define the estate’s great wines.
Haut-Brion is one of Bordeaux’s most singular historic terroirs, renowned for producing wines of great distinction, capable of combining power, texture and elegance over several decades.
Tasting notes
The 2015 vintage reveals a deep garnet colour and a ripe, concentrated nose, followed by aromas of very ripe red and black fruits, liquorice and clove. The palate is especially supple on the attack, then unfolds with great volume and depth, showing flavours of ripe fruit and cocoa bean. The finish is long, harmonious and refined.
Ageing and serving
This great wine offers remarkable ageing potential. The double magnum format encourages a slower, more harmonious evolution than a standard bottle, making it a particularly attractive choice for those wishing to cellar the wine over the long term.
Serve after suitable aeration, ideally around 16 to 18°C, with noble meats, fine game or truffle-based cuisine.
In summary: a great Château Haut-Brion 2015 in 3-litre double magnum, presented in its original wooden case and combining prestige, depth, ageing potential and the rarity of a large format.
