Roederer Brut 1982

This vintage Champagne, now fully mature, stands out for its deep golden hue and fine, persistent effervescence. The highly complex nose reveals evolved aromas of dried fruits (apricot, candied orange peel), toasted hazelnuts, buttered brioche, and honey, with a noble oxidative touch of mushroom and forest floor.

On the palate, the texture is broad and silky, with a soft, integrated mousse. The wine offers a beautiful tertiary generosity, while retaining a refreshing balance. The finish is long and enveloping, marked by flavors of praline, almond, candied lemon, and a subtle smoky nuance.
