The Amiral G cuvée represents one of the most ambitious expressions from Château de Vaudieu. It highlights the richness, depth and nobility of Grenache from very old vines, capable of producing grapes of exceptional concentration while preserving finesse and balance.
The 2016 vintage brings rare harmony between ripeness, freshness, aromatic intensity and tannic precision. The wine’s natural power remains perfectly controlled, with dense substance but no heaviness, great fruit purity and a remarkably long finish.

Appearance: deep red with purple and garnet reflections, dense, brilliant and still very sustained, with an intensity that announces a wine of great concentration.
Nose: intense and noble, with black raspberry, blackberry, black cherry, candied violet, sweet spices, garrigue and crushed-rock minerality. With aeration, nuances of liquorice, sweet pepper, warm earth and Mediterranean herbs may appear.
Palate: ample, dense and deeply textured, with impressive richness but no heaviness or hardness. The texture feels almost airy despite the concentration, carried by great fruit purity, ripe tannins and a long, vibrant and perfectly balanced finish.
