This Châteauneuf-du-Pape Omnia 2016 from Rotem & Mounir Saouma embodies a rare, refined and deeply original expression of the southern Rhône. Made from Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre, it combines aromatic richness, an enveloping texture, floral complexity and great precision, in a style that is Mediterranean, sophisticated and remarkably balanced.

Rotem & Mounir Saouma offer a highly personal reading of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, marked by a search for finesse, texture and aromatic depth. The Omnia cuvée brings together the major grape varieties of the appellation in a harmonious expression, where Grenache provides breadth and fruit, Syrah adds spicy depth, and Mourvèdre brings structure and poise.
The 2016 vintage gives a wine of great ripeness, but without excess. The concentration is carried by a particularly seductive texture, fine underlying freshness and a persistent finish. This is a Châteauneuf-du-Pape of grace and depth, capable of long evolution in bottle.
Tasting notes
Appearance: deep red with garnet and purple reflections, dense, brilliant and still full of intensity, with fine visual concentration.
Nose: complex and highly seductive, with cherry, ripe plum, raspberry, dark fruits, rooibos tea, bergamot, incense and jasmine. With aeration, nuances of lavender, sweet spices, garrigue, liquorice and subtle minerality may appear.
Palate: ample, silky and deeply harmonious, with layers of red and dark fruits, a particularly enveloping texture and great grace in the overall balance. The finish is long, persistent and refined, carried by discreet minerality and remarkable precision.
