Château Suduiraut 1986 — Sauternes
This Château Suduiraut 1986 embodies a mature, profound and classical expression of the great sweet wines of Sauternes. Classified as a Premier Cru in 1855, Suduiraut is renowned for rich, complex and long-lasting wines, capable of developing over time a superb palette of candied, spicy and honeyed aromas.
After several decades of evolution, the 1986 vintage reveals a noble and beautifully polished profile: candied apricot, bitter orange, quince, fig, date, deep honey, saffron, beeswax, dried fruits, fine caramel, sweet spices, tea, orange peel and a long, fresh, enveloping and persistent finish.
A mature, broad and refined Sauternes, where the richness of noble rot is expressed through a silky texture, carried by precious remaining freshness. Suduiraut 1986 seduces through its balance between candied fruits, honey, spices, wax, evolved citrus and noble tertiary notes.
