Château Kirwan 1983
A mature Margaux: classic charm, floral finesse and Médoc elegance
Terroir
Château Kirwan, a Classified Growth of Margaux, belongs to the great tradition of elegant Médoc wines. Its vineyard lies on deep gravel soils, well suited to Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented by more clay-influenced parcels that bring roundness, suppleness and charm through Merlot. The result is a wine known for finesse, balance and floral expression.
The 1983 vintage is particularly interesting in Margaux, where it often produced expressive, fragrant wines now fully evolved. This Château Kirwan 1983 offers a mature and classic interpretation of the appellation, with a texture softened by time, refined tertiary nuances and the floral charm typical of fine mature Margaux wines.

Palate & Finish:
The palate is supple, patinated and harmonious, with melted tannins and a silky texture. The finish lingers on evolved dark fruit, cedar, gentle spices and a discreet floral touch, offering the refined charm of a mature Margaux.
