Nose

• Fresh red cherries, raspberry, perhaps strawberry — these are well in line with Pinot Noir from Fixin in a refined style.

• Possible light floral (rose, violet) or underbrush / forest floor touches (especially as the wine evolves).

• Gentle spice (white pepper, subtle clove) from oak or aging influence.

• Slight herbs or licorice hints (older vines may contribute more complexity).

Palate

• Medium body with good tension and liveliness from acidity.

• Tannins likely fine to medium in texture — noticeable but not coarse.

• Fruit leaning toward fresh red rather than deeply dark.

• Mineral backbone (stone, slight firmness) consistent with Fixin soils.

• Oak influence supportive rather than dominant.

• A finish tapering to earth/mineral / slight spice.
