Terroir

The Hommage à Jacques Perrin cuvée comes from the oldest parcels of Château de Beaucastel, planted predominantly to Mourvèdre, complemented by the other traditional Châteauneuf-du-Pape varieties. Some vines are over a century old and grow on the appellation’s iconic galets roulés over deep clay soils, providing structure, heat retention and water reserves. The vineyard is farmed biodynamically, allowing a pure and faithful expression of terroir.

Colour & Nose:
Deep, dark colour. The nose is complex and intense, with aromas of ripe dark fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry), spice, garrigue, leather, truffle and balsamic nuances.

Palate & Finish:
