Domaine de l’Arlot – Clos, Purity and a Sense of Place
Prémeaux-Prissey (Nuits-Saint-Georges) • Côte de Nuits • Burgundy — Historic monopole estate (~14 ha)
A Domaine Born Within the Walls
Formally established in 1987 around the Clos de l’Arlot, the estate has belonged to AXA Millésimes since then and has been led by Géraldine Godot since 2014. Its philosophy combines Burgundian precision, biodynamics, and a quest for purity.
Historic Clos & Exceptional Terroirs
- Clos de l’Arlot — Premier Cru (red & white): limestone freshness, tension and elegance.
- Clos des Forêts Saint-Georges — Premier Cru monopole (~7.2 ha): depth, verticality, impressive ageing potential.
- Clos du Chapeau — Côte de Nuits-Villages: juicy and charming, early drinking.
- Rare parcels: Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Suchots & Romanée-Saint-Vivant Grand Cru (very limited).
Biodynamics & Gentle Winemaking

- Gentle fermentations with light punch-downs and pump-overs, minimal sulphur use.
- Ageing of 15–18 months in oak barrels (around 20–30% new) to preserve purity and transparency of terroir.
Style & Tasting
