Clos des Forêts Saint-Georges is an iconic Premier Cru monopole in Nuits-Saint-Georges, entirely owned by Domaine de l’Arlot. Located in the southern part of the appellation, the vineyard lies on deep soils combining limestone and clay, which provide structure, freshness and depth. Thanks to its favourable exposure and meticulous vineyard management, the Pinot Noir expresses power, precision and a strong sense of place.

Tasting Notes

Appearance & Nose:
Deep ruby colour. The nose is intense and complex, revealing aromas of dark fruits (blackcurrant, black cherry), floral notes (violet), layered with spice and subtle oak nuances.

Palate & Finish:
The palate is full-bodied and structured, supported by a dense core and fine, elegant tannins. The balance between richness and freshness is remarkable. The finish is long, persistent and refined, highlighting the cru’s depth and excellent ageing potential.
