A Tuscan Success Story

Founded in 1984 by Rita Tua and Virgilio Bisti, Tua Rita has become one of Tuscany’s most emblematic estates in just a few decades. Located in Suvereto, in Alta Maremma, the estate now spans around 50 hectares and follows a meticulous artisanal approach focused on terroir expression. Under the leadership of Stefano Frascolla, supported by Luca D’Attoma and Marco Lamastra, Tua Rita combines technical precision, elegance, and intensity.

Terroir & Philosophy

The vines are planted on iron-rich clay-loam soils, shaped by the proximity of the Tyrrhenian Sea. This distinctive terroir imparts a subtle saline and mineral backbone, balanced by natural concentration.

The estate practices sustainable viticulture, with strict yield control, manual harvesting and highly detailed parcel selection. Ageing is long and precise, in barrels or amphorae depending on the cuvée, preserving finesse and balance.

Winemaking Style

Tua Rita wines are known for their aromatic richness, freshness, and depth. Its top cuvées reach levels of complexity comparable to the world’s greatest wines. Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon are the pillars of the estate, while Syrah and Sangiovese also find remarkable expression here.

Redigaffi — 100% Merlot, a cult wine awarded 100/100 points. Exceptional concentration, velvety texture, and intensity.
Giusto di Notri — A refined Bordeaux blend, broad and deep.
Per Sempre — Iconic Syrah with a spicy, sapid character.
Keir — Syrah vinified and aged in amphora, pure and elegant.
Perlato del Bosco — Expressive, racy Sangiovese with great drinkability.
Rosso dei Notri — Entry-level cuvée offering outstanding value.
Vermentino — A bright, saline, crystalline white.
