From the sun-drenched hills of the Tuscan Maremma, Redigaffi 2017 is sourced from old-vine Merlot planted on mineral-rich clay and silt soils. The warm, dry vintage delivered naturally low yields and exceptional concentration, while the proximity to the Tyrrhenian Sea helped preserve balance and freshness. This unique terroir allows Redigaffi to combine remarkable intensity with precision and elegance.

Tasting Notes

Nose:
Deep and expressive aromas of blackberry, black cherry and cassis, layered with notes of dark chocolate, espresso, sweet spices and subtle balsamic nuances.

Palate & Finish:
The palate is rich and enveloping, with a dense, polished texture and beautifully ripe tannins. Despite the warmth of the vintage, the wine remains harmonious and vibrant, driven by remarkable inner freshness. The finish is exceptionally long, lingering on notes of dark cocoa, ripe black fruit and Mediterranean herbs. A powerful yet refined expression of one of the world’s greatest Merlots.
