The Etna Rosso DOC "Contrada Santo Spirito" 2016 Particella 466 from Cantine Costanzo is a Sicilian red wine from the slopes of Mount Etna, renowned for its volcanic terroir. Mainly made from Nerello Mascalese with a touch of Nerello Cappuccio, it comes from Particella 466 in the Contrada Santo Spirito, an area known for its volcanic soils and altitude, which enhance the wine’s finesse. Aged in oak barrels, this wine features a bright garnet-red color, with an elegant nose of red fruits, spices, and volcanic minerality. On the palate, it has fine tannins, well-integrated acidity, and complexity, with notes of red fruits, Mediterranean herbs, and a lingering mineral finish.
