Terroir & Philosophy

Sourced from a privileged enclosed vineyard overlooking Lake Neuchâtel, this Pinot Noir grows on predominantly limestone soils, bringing tension, minerality and precision to the wine. The favorable exposure ensures optimal ripeness while preserving the freshness essential to balance.

The Domaine des Landions follows a rigorous, parcel-focused approach, with low yields and strict grape selection. Winemaking aims to preserve purity of fruit and terroir expression, while careful oak aging refines the structure without overshadowing the wine.

The 2019 vintage, both balanced and complete, achieved excellent phenolic ripeness while maintaining freshness. The result is a wine of depth, precision and strong ageing potential.

Tasting Notes

Nose:
Deep and complex, revealing aromas of black cherry, blackberry and ripe red fruits, layered with floral hints of rose, alongside subtle notes of spice, fine oak, and evolving nuances of forest floor and truffle.

Palate:
