Terroir & parcels

The V18 cuvée comes from the vineyard Val Vilaine, located in Celles-sur-Ource in the Côte des Bar, in the southern part of Champagne. This vineyard is emblematic of Cédric Bouchard’s philosophy: producing champagnes from a single vineyard, a single grape variety and a single vintage.

The soils consist mainly of Kimmeridgian limestone and marl, similar to those found in nearby Chablis. This terroir gives the Pinot Noir remarkable aromatic precision, elegant structure and pronounced mineral character.

The domaine follows a minimalist philosophy: low yields, natural fermentations, no blending and very low dosage. The result is a champagne of exceptional purity that faithfully reflects both its vineyard origin and the personality of the vintage.

Tasting notes

Nose:
Delicate and precise, revealing aromas of fresh apple, pear and citrus zest, complemented by hints of white flowers, subtle brioche and a light chalky nuance.

Palate:
Pure and vibrant, with a fine and elegant mousse. Orchard fruit and citrus flavors unfold with precision, supported by chalky minerality and remarkable energy.
