The Volnay 1er Cru Les Taillepieds is medium to full-bodied, fleshy and textural, its enveloping attack segueing into a layered, concentrated mid-palate that's framed by lively acids and powdery tannins. Bright and perfumed, it's a serious, elegantly muscular Taillepieds that will repay extended bottle age.

Domaine Pascal Roblet-Monnot, located in Volnay in Burgundy, is a small estate renowned for producing rare wines highly sought after by connoisseurs of exceptional Burgundy wines. Managed by Pascal Roblet for over 20 years, this micro domaine has distinguished itself through its biodynamic farming practices, which began in 1997, and a meticulous approach to every stage of wine production.

The estate spans approximately 6 hectares, with most of its vineyards located in Volnay, and a small parcel in Pommard. These exceptional terroirs allow the production of wines marked by their density, depth, and aromatic complexity. The winemaking methods, including spontaneous fermentations and aging in oak barrels, contribute to wines that are capable of aging beautifully, developing significant richness and complexity over time.

The most notable cuvées from the estate include Bourgogne Pinot Noir Vieilles Vignes, Volnay Saint François, and Volnay 1er Cru Brouillards. These wines stand out for their finesse, exceptional length, and remarkable aging potential. The Bourgogne Pinot Noir Vieilles Vignes, in particular, offers a fresh attack, a tannic structure without astringency, and an elegant, persistent finish.
