Description

Nose

The bouquet opens with crisp orchard fruits—green apple, pear—then evolves to citrus peel (lemon, lime) and subtle stone-fruit. The hallmark limestone site asserts itself: chalky minerality, crushed stone or wet limestone. There is a faint aromatic of white flowers (acacia/blossom), perhaps a touch of hazelnut or almond from the oak élevage. Fresh, refined, and reserved at this stage.

Palate

On the palate it is elegant yet serious: medium body with a tight core of fruit, bright acidity driving the structure. Flavours echo pear and green apple, together with candied citrus rind, a hint of white peach. Beneath sits the mineral thread—chalk, flint, fine salinity—that gives lift and keeps the wine focused. The finish is long and precise, with lingering citrus zest, a hint of vanilla or toasted almond, and a gently stony after-taste. This is built for aging: expect evolving complexity with 5-10 years of cellaring.
