Corton-Bressandes Grand Cru 2020 – Chandon de Briailles
A broad and finely structured Grand Cru, combining aromatic intensity, depth, and mineral finesse
Terroir
The Corton-Bressandes climat is located on the mid-slope of the Hill of Corton, on the Aloxe-Corton side, in the heart of the Côte de Beaune. The vineyard is rooted in deep limestone marl soils, rich yet well-drained, providing an ideal balance between power and elegance. This privileged setting gives rise to wines of great aromatic intensity, firm structure, and refined mineral expression. Here, Pinot Noir develops depth, breadth, and excellent aging potential.
Tasting Notes
Nose / Aromatics:

Palate / Structure:
The palate is broad and well-structured, supported by fine, ripe tannins. Dark fruit is lifted by a fresh acidity, while a pronounced mineral backbone adds tension and precision. The overall impression is harmonious, with a silky and controlled texture.
Finish:
The finish is long and persistent, marked by dark fruit, subtle earthy notes, and a lasting stony character, revealing the full nobility and depth of Corton-Bressandes Grand Cru.
