Palate: broad, dense, silky and still structured, with ripe fruit carried by fine depth. Flavours of black cherry, Morello cherry, raspberry, plum, spice, liquorice, fine earth, forest floor and leather unfold with generosity, supported by ripe tannins and preserved freshness. The finish is long, mineral, lightly saline and spicy, with an impression of calmed power, nobility and great Burgundian persistence.
