The wine shows a pale golden hue with brilliant reflections. The nose is refined and complex, revealing aromas of white flowers, honeysuckle, and ripe citrus, enhanced by hints of dried fruits (hazelnut, almond) and a touch of elegant butteriness. With aeration, mineral and lightly smoky nuances emerge, a hallmark of Corton’s terroir.
On the palate, the attack is broad and silky, balanced by a fine acidity that delivers freshness and tension. The mid-palate unfolds with flavors of yellow fruits (peach, mirabelle) and candied citrus, enriched by toasted and spicy notes. The finish is long, saline, and deeply mineral, highlighting impressive persistence and excellent aging potential.
