The Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru 2017 from Domaine Philippe Charlopin-Parizot comes from vines planted on clay-limestone soils in the Côte de Nuits, in Morey-Saint-Denis, an ideal terroir for the optimal maturation of Pinot Noir. Traditional winemaking is employed, with fermentation in open vats and aging in oak barrels, some of which are new, allowing for a subtle integration of woody aromas. The wine presents a deep red color and complex aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherry and raspberry, complemented by floral and spicy notes. On the palate, it is structured, with fine tannins and a beautiful acidity, offering a long, persistent finish.
