Barolo Cerequio 2016 - Michele Chiarlo

Tasting notes

The Cerequio vineyard’s soil composition and especially mild climate are qualities that make it one of the most prestigious crus of the Langhe.

  • Color: Deep ruby red with bright garnet reflections, indicating its aging potential.
  • Nose: The bouquet is rich and complex, blending aromas of black cherry, plum, delicate floral notes of rose and violet, with subtle hints of black pepper and licorice.
  • Palate: On the palate, the wine presents an elegant and full structure, with fine tannins and well-balanced acidity. Flavors of dark fruits, dark chocolate, and spices unfold harmoniously, offering a long, persistent finish.
