A Historic Estate Acquired by LVMH

With origins dating back to the 14th century, the modern structure of the estate was established in the late 19th century. After a revival led by the Saier brothers in the 1980s, the domaine was acquired in 2014 by LVMH, marking a new era focused on both heritage preservation and technical excellence. Since 2019, the estate has been under the technical direction of Jacques Devauges (formerly at Clos de Tart), bringing a new level of precision to both vineyard and cellar work.

Clos des Lambrays – A Grand Cru of Exceptional Elegance

The heart of the domaine is the Clos des Lambrays Grand Cru, one of the most prestigious climats of the Côte de Nuits, covering 8.66 ha out of a total of 9.1 ha in near-monopoly. South-east facing slopes between 250 and 320 m of altitude rest on clay-limestone soils. The average vine age exceeds 40 years. The domaine is in biodynamic conversion, with horse ploughing, carefully managed cover crops, and natural plant protection.
