Located in the commune of Montagne, in the Montagne-Saint-Émilion appellation, Château Canon de Brem is a historic property of the Libournais, closely linked to the local nobility since the 18th century. It owes its name to the de Brem family and benefits from a privileged position overlooking Saint-Émilion.

The estate was taken over by the Baronnie Vignobles International group, which develops sustainable viticulture and a faithful expression of the terroir. The technical management works to produce elegant, modern, and accessible wines while respecting the codes of the right bank.

A terroir at the gates of Saint-Émilion

The vineyard covers about 18 hectares, planted mainly with Merlot (80%) and Cabernet Franc (20%), on clay-limestone soils similar to those of Saint-Émilion. The proximity to the limestone plateau gives the wines a beautiful structure, natural freshness, and a certain aging potential.

Modern and meticulous winemaking

Each plot is vinified separately in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. The aging, lasting 12 to 15 months, takes place in French oak barrels, a portion of which is renewed each year. The estate's style favors roundness, elegance, and suppleness, with wines accessible from their youth but capable of aging.
