The estate spans 120 hectares of vineyards planted on a mosaic of soils — rounded pebbles (galets roulés), sand, clay, and gravel — typical of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. These iconic stones retain daytime heat and release it at night, ensuring optimal ripening of the grapes. Beaucastel grows all 13 traditional grape varieties of the appellation, with a dominance of Grenache, Mourvèdre, Syrah and Counoise, along with rarer whites such as Roussanne and Clairette, contributing to the wines’ complexity and balance.

Winemaking & Aging — Tradition Meets Precision

The wines are then aged for 12 to 18 months in large old oak foudres or demi-muids, without filtration, preserving their texture, purity, and aromatic depth.
