Pétrus 2001 is a legendary red wine made exclusively from Merlot, grown on the prestigious clay soils of Pomerol’s plateau. Often overshadowed by the more famous 2000 vintage, the 2001 is now recognized as a beautifully mature expression of the estate’s style—silky, aromatic and noble. A connoisseur’s treasure.
Color: Deep garnet with subtle brick hues.
Nose: Elegant aromas of black truffle, candied cherry, blond tobacco, cedar, undergrowth and licorice.
