From the steep slopes of Thörnicher Ritsch, the 2021 vintage reveals even more cut and precision than its predecessor. Tightly wound and vibrant, it delivers a strikingly pure expression of slate terroir and vintage energy.
Nose: Delicate and focused, with aromas of candied lemon, yuzu zest, fresh basil, and wet slate. Hints of chamomile, white pepper, and chalk dust add nuance to this racy bouquet.
Palate: Bracing and linear, almost ascetic at this stage, the palate displays electric acidity, razor-sharp minerality, and a sense of absolute purity. Green apple and lemon stay discreet, allowing the stone to speak. Long, salty, chalky finish with surgical precision.
