This Gevrey‑Chambertin “En Croisette” 2023 is youthful but shows strong terroir, finesse and energy typical of Jérôme Galeyrand’s style, especially from his oldest vines.
Nose: Red fruits (cherry, red currant), slight floral lift (violet), with fine oak influence (toast, maybe some smoke or warm spice), and a hint of earth/mineral (stone, limestone, maybe fossil traces).
- Palate: Fresh, vibrant, with medium body. The tannins are present, fairly firm, yet well balanced with juicy red fruit. There is good acidity giving lift. Oak contributes toast / spice without overwhelming. Finish likely persistent, with fruit fading into mineral/earthy notes.
