Beaune Les Cents Vignes 1er Cru 2017 - Domaine des Croix

Sourced from one of Beaune’s oldest Premier Cru vineyards, on deep clay-limestone soils with iron-rich sublayers. Vines are 35 to 50 years old. Fermented with indigenous yeasts, no additives, gentle extraction. Aged 16–18 months in French oak barrels (less than 20% new). No fining or filtration.

Nose: Precise and aromatic: cherry, dried peony, forest floor, subtle iron notes. Very clean and delicate bouquet.

Palate: Bright entry, vibrant acidity, silky texture, fine-grained tannins. Tense and pure mid-palate, with a long saline finish echoing cherry pit and black tea nuances.
