Veuve Clicquot Vintage Rosé 2008
Veuve Clicquot Vintage Rosé 2008 embodies a refined and gastronomic expression of vintage rosé Champagne. Produced from a great Champagne vintage known for freshness and precision, it combines the structure of Pinot Noir, the elegance of Chardonnay and the complexity of a rosé now entering a beautiful stage of maturity.
Presentation
Veuve Clicquot, the historic Champagne house founded in Reims in 1772, is one of the great names of Champagne. Its style is traditionally built around the prominent presence of Pinot Noir, bringing structure, depth and aromatic intensity to the house’s cuvées.
Veuve Clicquot Vintage Rosé 2008 is a vintage rosé Champagne crafted from an assemblage dominated by Pinot Noir, complemented by Chardonnay and a small proportion of Pinot Meunier. The addition of red wine from selected Pinot Noir terroirs brings colour, texture and a vinous dimension particularly suited to fine dining.
The 2008 vintage is widely regarded in Champagne for its freshness, tension and remarkable ageing potential. In this cuvée, it gives a rosé that is at once energetic, precise and complex, where red fruits, citrus notes and delicate spice are balanced by a fine mineral backbone.
Veuve Clicquot Vintage Rosé 2008 is intended for lovers of characterful rosé Champagnes, collectors of great vintages and enthusiasts seeking an elegant, mature and gastronomic bottle, ideal for pairing with refined cuisine.
