Terroir and blend

This Iteration 26 is composed of 65% from 2012, 25% from 2008 and 10% from 2007. Chardonnay dominates the blend with 58%, complemented by 42% Pinot Noir. This construction gives the wine its breadth, precision, depth and remarkable sense of balance.

The Chardonnay comes from the Grand Cru villages of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Cramant and Avize, while the Pinot Noir is sourced from Tours-sur-Marne, Ambonnay, Bouzy and Verzy. These eight Grand Crus bring structure, length, aromatic complexity and a refined chalky signature to the cuvée.

The colour is bright and luminous, with pale golden reflections and a fine, persistent stream of bubbles. The nose is immediately complex, combining preserved citrus, white peach, pear, white flowers, fresh hazelnut, almond, delicate honey and a subtle touch of toasted brioche.
