Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru “Les Fuées” 2021 – Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier
A Chambolle of absolute purity: finesse, precision and luminous depth
Terroir
From the Les Fuées climat, bordering Bonnes-Mares, this Premier Cru lies on thin, stony limestone soils that encourage a vibrant, aerial expression of Pinot Noir. The 2021 vintage, defined by slow and measured ripening, delivers a wine of crystalline elegance, where delicate aromatics meet a finely etched mineral backbone of remarkable purity.
Tasting Notes
Nose:
Refined aromas of fresh raspberry, morello cherry and wild strawberry, lifted by subtle notes of peony, rose petals and a chalky minerality characteristic of the finest Chambolle terroirs.
Palate & Finish:
A graceful entry, silky texture and a profile of striking precision. The red fruit is pure and radiant, supported by a straight, finely tuned structure and delicate freshness. The tannins are fine and seamlessly integrated, leading to a long, vibrant finish marked by cool stone and an almost weightless elegance. A luminous Premier Cru of exceptional finesse.
