Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Feusselottes 2020 — Domaine Georges Mugneret-Gibourg
This Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Feusselottes 2020 from Domaine Georges Mugneret-Gibourg embodies one of the most delicate and sensual expressions of Chambolle-Musigny. From a terroir of red soils with rocky outcrops, it offers a Pinot Noir of great finesse: black cherry, red fruits, violet, flowers, discreet spices, truffle, fine earth, silky texture and very long aromatic persistence.
Domaine Georges Mugneret-Gibourg is sought after for the purity of its wines, their delicate touch and their balance between depth and elegance. Les Feusselottes stands out through a particularly floral and refined expression of Chambolle, less marked by power than by perfume, fruit precision and length. The 2020 vintage brings concentration and ripeness while preserving the airy grace of the climat.
A Chambolle-Musigny Premier Cru of charm, silk and precision, where the richness of the 2020 vintage remains carried by the natural elegance of the terroir. The wine combines black cherry, red fruits, violet, fine spices, truffle, delicate earth and a generous but never heavy palate. It is a Pinot Noir of perfume, caress and persistence.
Terroir: Les Feusselottes, floral finesse and Chambolle red soils
The Les Feusselottes climat is located in Chambolle-Musigny, an emblematic Côte de Nuits village known for the finesse, floral grace and silky texture of its Pinot Noir. The parcel owned by Domaine Georges Mugneret-Gibourg, purchased by Georges Mugneret in 1985, lies on red soils with rocky outcrops in places, producing a wine of precision, delicacy and great persistence.
This terroir favours an expression that is more airy than massive: flowers, spice, black cherry, red fruits, violet, fine truffle and discreet minerality. In the naturally ripe and concentrated 2020 vintage, Les Feusselottes retains the elegance of Chambolle while gaining depth, flesh and complexity. The palate remains generous, yet always held by silky grain and a long finish.
Terroir expression: Pinot Noir, Chambolle-Musigny, red soils, rocky outcrops, black cherry, violet, flowers, spice, truffle, discreet minerality and very long persistence.

Expression of the 2020 vintage
The 2020 vintage in Burgundy produced ripe, concentrated and intense wines, but the great terroirs of the Côte de Nuits often preserved very fine definition. In Les Feusselottes, the richness of the vintage appears through a generous palate, deep fruit and a more enveloping texture, while the Chambolle terroir preserves floral finesse, freshness and delicacy of grain.
Today, this Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Feusselottes 2020 remains young and deserves extended ageing. It can already impress through its aromatic brightness, ripe fruit and silky texture, but it will gain complexity with time: truffle, forest floor, dried flowers, melted spices, noble earth and more mineral nuances should gradually enrich its profile.
In summary: a refined, floral and highly persistent Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Feusselottes 2020, carried by the red soils of the climat, the depth of the vintage and the precision of Domaine Mugneret-Gibourg.
Dominant aromas: black cherry, ripe red fruits, violet, fresh flowers, fine spices, truffle, fine earth, light forest floor, discreet minerality and a very long silky finish.
